For US Spec Models (American Market):

Most US-market vehicles do not come equipped with AFS.

For these vehicles, installation is Prise & Jouer and will not cause any dashboard errors.

For Japan & Europe Spec Models:

Vehicles sold in Japan and Europe are often equipped with the AFS system (headlights that swivel when turning).

Issue: Since the NIF-A287 does not have AFS motors, installing them on an AFS-equipped car will trigger a “Headlight System Error” or warning light on the dashboard.

Solution: To use these headlights on a Euro/Japan spec vehicle, you must disable/close the AFS function (via coding or fuse removal) to eliminate the error code.
